Spencer William's story
The Tabernacle Messenger (the church magazine at the time) reported in January 1915 that S Millham was one of the serviceman who received a parcel for Christmas 1914.
In May 1919 it wrote that Spencer Milham, who had previously been reported missing, was now confirmed killed.
The bell has S Miller (and no Millham) but we think it is referring to this local man.
