inscribed on the bells of the Memorial Community Church in Plaistow. They are our local heroes

There are memorial plaques and stones inside the church and outside.

Memorial plaque about the bells

This the dedication plaque at the foot of the bell tower:

1914-1919

To the Glory of God and in abiding memory of the men who served in the Great War and of those whose names are cast on the bells hung in this tower.

“He will swallow up death in victory and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces.”  Isaiah 25:8
