George Edward's story

The Naval bell has Seaman G Church, the Tabernacle Messenger mentions a C Church in the Royal Navy receiving a parcel for Christmas 1914.

Though this is the only Seaman G Church killed listed on the CWGC database, his parents address was Stockton-on-Tees and we have nothing to connect him to the local area so we cannot be sure if he is the man commemorated in Plaistow.  If you can help identify this man, please do get in touch.
