William's story

The Tabernacle Messenger (church magazine) of January 1915 records that parcels were sent for Christmas 1914 to servicemen W Feast, A Feast, B Feast and E Feast.

Also among the fallen were Lance Corporal Alfred Richard Feast of the South Staffordshire Regiment, husband of Annie L Feast, of 37 Beaumont Road, Plaistow. He served seven years in the Sherwood Foresters and died on 11 January 1917 in France.
