Stanley's story

Thanks to Kirstin and other descendents of S R Leitch for this information:

He was the third child of nine. He was 19 (corrected to 17) on the 1901 Census where he is living at 1 Norfolk Street, Stratford,  with his familyOn the 1911 Census he is living with his siblings, listed as a Ward (wood?) Machinist. He should be listed as age 27 but it clearly states 17, which is wrong.

There was a Stanley R Leitch born in 1919 inWest Ham, son of Charles A V Leitch and Henrietta Crawford who were married in June 1916. I would suggest the child was named after Stanley R Leitch in his memory, as This Charles is probably Stanley’s younger Brother Charles V born 1890.
